A community for empowered people, determined to act.
Conscience Collective is a community designed to showcase the work of social and environmental activists. We interview inspirational people, whether they work within an ethical organisation, are a small business founder, or are involved in positively shaping their local community. We encourage taking small steps towards big changes on the issues of climate change, sustainability and equity around the world by providing information and insights from people already doing the work.
Why?
We want to highlight work that is often not noticed or given as much attention as it deserves. It is crucial that we collectively disrupt the trend towards climate ‘doomism’, and acceptance of current day inequalities. In order to unite us in a collective movement, it can be important to see the work done by others to make sometimes small, but vital shifts in the direction of equality and justice.
Gloria Steinem famously said “The story of women’s struggle for equality belongs to no single feminists nor to any one organization but to the collective efforts of all who care about human rights”. In challenging inequalities, we can become the change we want to see.
For us it is about conscience. Social and environmental justice for all.
